How to make a balloon bomb

Inflate a 36" balloon with air - I use an electric air inflator for this as it saves the air in our cylinder.

The 5" balloons can be inflated with an air cylinder, nitrogen cylinder or a hand pump.

Each time the balloon is inserted and tied it acts as a plug - stopping the air escaping from the 36" balloon.

Continue repeating the stuffing process until the balloon is full - we can usually get around 80 x 5" balloons inside the 36" balloon.

Once the balloon is full we stuff 1000 pieces of flutter fetti to finish.

The balloons are rigged and wired with bell wire. We use LeMaitre fuses wired to a key activated firing box.

The firing box can also check the circuit is complete - so we know the balloons will fire.
